Textile and apparel exports from January to November close to the 300 billion US dollar

    According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs on December 7, in terms of US dollars, under the influence of factors such as inventory backlog in major markets and reduced orders, textile and apparel exports from January to November reached 297.63 billion US dollars, close to the 300 billion US dollar mark. In November, the month-on-month decline narrowed. This month's textile and garment exports were 24.39 billion US dollars, a month-on-month decrease of 2.5%, which was much lower than the previous month's 10.8%.

    Textile and clothing exports are calculated in RMB: from January to November 2022, textile and clothing exports totaled 1,973.63 billion yuan, an increase of 7.0% over the same period last year (the same below), of which textile exports were 905.83 billion yuan, an increase of 6.9%, and clothing exports were 1,067.8 billion yuan. An increase of 7.0%.

    In November, textile and clothing exports were 172.94 billion yuan, down 5.9%, down 0.3% month-on-month, of which textile exports were 79.88 billion yuan, down 6.0%, up 1.4% month-on-month, and clothing exports were 93.06 billion yuan, down 5.9%, down 1.7% month-on-month.

    Textile and clothing exports in US dollars: from January to November 2022, textile and clothing exports totaled US$297.63 billion, an increase of 4.3%, of which textile exports were US$136.93 billion, an increase of 4.6%, and clothing exports were US$160.7 billion, an increase of 4.1%.

    In November, textile and clothing exports were US$24.39 billion, down 14.9%, and 2.5% month-on-month, of which textile exports were US$11.27 billion, down 14.9%, down 0.9% month-on-month, and clothing exports were US$13.12 billion, down 14.9%, down 3.9% month-on-month.
